A retirement planning tool. Use it to budget how you intend to spend your super in retirement and see estimated future balances — or use it to estimate what you will have if you are still working. Set it up with your best estimates then update as things change.
⚠ Super figures are estimates and projections only. Update your balance when you receive a statement — usually quarterly. MangoDesk is not a financial planning tool and this is not financial advice.
Adding your fund
Enter your fund name, current balance and member number. If you have multiple funds add each one separately. The total feeds into your Dashboard net worth.

Retirement projections
Set your expected retirement age, planned annual drawdown, and inflation rate. MangoDesk projects your estimated balance year by year so you can see if your super will last.
Extra deposits & withdrawals
Add extra contribution lines (salary sacrifice, voluntary contributions) and lump sum withdrawals. Each line adjusts the projected balance so you can model different scenarios.
Inflation setting
Set an inflation rate to see how the real value of your super changes over time. Adjust this to model optimistic or conservative scenarios for your retirement planning.
Currency
You can change the currency display. If you do, check that all super figures still display correctly as currency changes may affect number formatting across the tab.
Keeping it current
Update your balance each time you receive a statement. Adjust your planned withdrawals and contributions as your life circumstances change. The projections update instantly.

Adding an asset
Click + Add Asset. Enter the asset name, broker or platform, current estimated value, and cost base (what you originally paid for it). Add each holding separately.
Capital gain tracking
The difference between current value and cost base shows your estimated capital gain or loss. This is for planning awareness only — not a tax calculation.
What to include

Your annual financial picture. See all income and expenses in one place — what is coming in, what is going out, and whether you will end the year in profit or loss. Property income and losses plus vehicle repayments pull in automatically.
⚠ Cashflow figures are estimates and budgets for the year ahead. Property income and vehicle repayments populate automatically from those tabs — do not enter them again here or they will be double counted.
Adding income
Add your wage, salary, or any other income that does not come from a property or vehicle. Enter the amount and frequency. Rental income from properties pulls in automatically — do not add it again.
Property profit & loss
Each property's rental income minus its expenses shows as either a profit or a loss in Cashflow. If a property costs more to run than it earns it shows as a loss — this is pulled in automatically from the Properties tab.

A standalone loan calculator — use it to work out repayments before committing to any loan or mortgage. Results do not feed anywhere else in MangoDesk, it is purely a calculation tool.
⚠ The Loan Calculator is a standalone tool only. Results do not flow to Cashflow or any other tab. If you want loan repayments to appear in your annual picture, add them manually in Cashflow.
How to use it
Enter the loan amount, interest rate and loan term. MangoDesk instantly calculates your monthly repayment and shows a full breakdown of principal versus interest over the life of the loan.
Comparing scenarios
Change the loan amount, rate or term to compare different scenarios. See how a higher repayment cuts years off the loan, or how a rate change affects what you pay each month.
Extra repayments
Try increasing your repayment amount to see how many years you can cut off the loan and how much interest you save. Even small extra payments make a significant difference over time.
